PBH Roads Committee
The Roads Committee works closely with residents and Boulder County Public Works and Road Maintenance to keep Pine Brook Hills roads safe and well maintained.
We meet regularly with the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) to secure long-term funding for BoCo Subdivision Roads.

County Services
Boulder County Road Maintenance Division provides a number of services in PBH including snow removal, pothole repair, patching, culvert maintenance, street signage, guard rails, right of way status and assistance with immediate roadside vegetation issues.

PBH Roads Status
PBH roads are in reasonable condition but continue to age and deteriorate. BoCo Road Maintenance works hard to keep our roads safe and well maintained within their charter and funding.
The Roads Committee worked with the County Commissioners for many years to have Linden Drive designated as a “community use road” which was achieved in 2016. Linden as pictured above, was completely reconstructed at a cost of $1.3M and is now, and will be in future, fully maintained by the county.
Future Funding
By far the biggest issue we face is funding for the reconstruction of PBH roads other than Linden Drive. In 1995 the then County Commissioners specifically separated subdivision road reconstruction from road maintenance. No funding mechanism has been established since then to rebuild our roads. PBH Roads committee are founding members of the Subdivision Paving Coalition (SPC) which represents all 100+ subdivisions in Boulder County. The SPC has a singular mission: To secure funding to reconstruct all BoCo subdivision roads.

Paving
The roads committee provides BoCo Road Maintenance with an annual priority list for patching n PBH. This is done with materials left over from major summer paving projects in Boulder County. Contact us if you have road sections you would like us to consider for this list at:
